When I first found
out I was pregnant I did not want to go to my OB/GYN because
of past experiences. A friend of mine from church, Carrie Lyons,
told us about the nurse midwives at Jeannette and suggested we
give them a call. I called them and made an appointment. When
we went for our first visit we were treated so well. We met first
with Sandy Mauro CNM and Sue Klosky, the office manager. They
were so nice. They gave us allot of information that was very
helpful. Sandy prayed with us on our first visit, which we really
appreciated, since we are a Christian family. Each visit after
that we met mostly with Gretchen Cohen CNM. She was really nice
also. When I found out that I had gestational diabetes, I was
real worried and scared about what was going to happen. Gretchen
reassured me everything would be all right.
On the day I went into
labor (October 08), Nancy Ritenour CNM was the one who delivered
our baby. I had a fast and easy delivery. We arrived at the hospital
at 8AM and our baby was born at 9AM. Nancy was just wonderful.
She was very calm the whole time. Even the nurses at Jeannette
Hospital were real nice.
We just had a wonderful
experience with the nurse midwives. Sandy, Gretchen, Nancy and
Sue always made you feel like they were your friend and you were
not just another patient. Each visit was special!
I recommend them to
any woman having a baby. If I ever have another baby, I would
definitely to to them again. They made my birthing experience
really special. Thank You
