You will need to fast
the night before for your one hour glucose screening test and
arrive early the following day. Stop at the outpatient desk and
present your lab slip and insurance information. You will then
be sent over to the draw station to get your lab work done.
At that time you will
be given a syrup to drink and will be asked to wait one hour
before getting your blood drawn. After your blood is drawn you
can leave.
Results are usually
available within 24 hours. We will contact you with any abnormal
results. If you are concerned, you may call our office.
