Guided Imagery Workshop
Kathy Duffy of Energy Connections will be providing us with two Guided Imagery Workshops in our office. Dates are May 14th and June 2 at 7PM. Additional information regarding this workshop is available on our bulletin board.
Orientation Session Scheduled
Do you want to know more about midwifery or do you know of someone who does? Then you are cordially invited to attend our "Consider Your Options" Orientation Evening on Monday, May 19th. A video will be shown and informational packets distributed. Time will also be available for questions. Private orientations can also be scheduled.

Birth Announcements

Gary and Evelyn Mumper of Wendel are the proud parents of Sonya Marie Mumper, born December 27, 2002. She weighed 8lbs, 13 ozs and will be joining sibling, Tori, age 6

Welcome to Matthew James Nelson!!! Matthew was born on October 27, 2002 at 10:11AM. He was 9lbs 6ozs and was 20 inches long. Matthew has an older brother, Andrew Michael who is 18 months old. Congratulations to the Nelson family of Indiana, Pa.

Bruce and Christine Bair of New Stanton, joyously announce the arrival of their second son, James Clarence on September 11, 2002. He weighed 8lbs, 5ozs and was 20 1/2 inches long. James joins his brother Michael who is 21 months old

Jonathan Joel Dietz was born December 13, 2002 at 4:13 AM. He weighed 8 lbs 4 ozs and was 21 inches long. Blessed parents are Chip and Rebecca of Indiana, Pa. Big brothers are Marshall and Miles. Grandparents are Ron and Marian Marshall and Art and Bev Dietz

Chad and Kristen Basinger of Connellsville would like to announce the birth of Mason Patrick, born on October 02, 2002. Mason weighed 7lbs and was 20 inches long.

Tyson and Kristy Currie of Crabtree, Pa, proudly welcome their second daughter, Skyler Kay Currie. Born October 01, 2002 at 12:55 AM. She weighed 7lbs 8ozs and was 19 _ inches long. She joins her big sister Lily Noel (3 1/2) into the family. We all thank Gretchen and nurse Julie for the wonderful support and being part of our magical experience and many thanks and love to our friends and family.

Bill and Renee Lovett of Wyano are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Lena Renee Lovett, on January 14, 2003. She weighed 8lbs 10 ozs and was 20 _ inches long. Lena joins her big brother, Dalton (3) at home. From including my son in my prenatal visits to Gretchen's calming supportive nature at delivery, I am forever grateful for my wonderful care I received.

Scheduling Polices
This is just a reminder that our office tries very hard to maintain an on time schedule as a courtesy to our patients. The majority of our appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments therefore allowing plenty of time for one on one care, therefore please call our office ASAP if you can not keep your scheduled time. This allows us to make your time available to those who may wish to be seen. Also, keep in mind that emergencies do arise along with unexpected deliveries. Our office staff will make every attempt to contact you if we are running late or need to reschedule you due to a delivery. Therefore it is important that you make us aware of any phone number changes.
