www.JDMH-midwives.com

Our office has just recently updated our web site thanks to the help of Ron Louis Gigliotti and Integrated Health Systems. ( our webmaster and site host). Many new applications have been added. You can now log on and change your patient information including phone, address and insurance information right online. Birth stories and birth announcements can also be submitted using our site. We always like to know how we are doing, so a new patient questionnaire has been added in which you can complete post partum to let us know of what you liked best about your care in our office and to suggest ways we can improve the services that we provide. You can also forward us updates on how things are going. Have a question you would like to ask, but only seem to think of it once the office is closed? Simply complete the "Ask the Midwife" form and an answer will be sent back to you within a few days. All of our patient handouts and forms are also available online so they can be printed out at home if you should misplace them. Enjoy birth stories? Our site has all of the birth stories which have been sent to our office during the last few years. Soon, our newsletter will be in a format in which it can be e-mailed to you. That way you will receive your copy about two weeks prior to the mailed copy. The site also includes a virtual tour and information about the midwives on staff. Want to know when our next class is or our next Moms Group? Simply log on and check our Events schedule. Support midwifery and mark this site as one of your favorites and take the time to forward it to any of your friends of relatives who may be interested.

A Prayer
My children often recite this when they are scared and away from home.

Psalms 91

Father, I believe in your Word,
I believe in your Son, I believe you'll protect me, according to Psalms 91.

Because I dwell in the secret place of the Most High,I will rest under the
shadow of the Almighty will say of the Lord, "Your are my refuge and my
fortress. My God in you will I trust.

Surely you will deliver me from the evil snare and from the deadly
pestilence. You will cover me with your feathers and under your wings will I
find refuge. Your faithfulness will be my shield and rampart.I will not fear
the terror by night nor the arrows that fly by day, nor the pestilence that
stalks in the darkness, nor the plaques that destroy at mid-day. A thousand
may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it will NOT come
near me. I will only
observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

Because I make the Most High my dwelling place; even the Lord, who is my
refuge no harm will befall me. No disaster will come near my house. For the
Lord will command his angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways. They
will lift me up in their hands, so that I will not strike my foot against a
stone. I will tread on the lion and the cobra; I will trample the great
lion and the serpent.

"Because you love me," says the Lord. "I will rescue you; I will protect
you for yu acknowledge my name. You will call on me and I will answer you.
I will be with you in trouble, I will deliver you and honor you. With long
life will I satisfy you and show you My salvation."

Dust

Dust if you must.
But wouldnít it be better
To paint a picture, or write a letter
Make a cake, or plant a seed
Ponder the difference between want and need
Dust if you must
But there is not much time
With rivers to swim and mountains to climb
Music to hear, and books to read
Friends to cherish and life to lead
Dust if you must
But the worldís out there
With the sun in your eyes, and the wind in your hair
A flutter of snow, a shower of rain
This day will not come round again
Dust if you must
But bear in mind
Old age will come and it is not kind
And when you go, and go you must
You, yourself, will make more dust
Remember: A house becomes a home when you can write "I Love You" on the Furniture
