The Pap Police is Going
High Tech
I know all of you love to
receive your pap reminders in their mauve colored envelope (chuckle
chuckle), but if you would like to help me with my "Save
the Trees campaign" , you can have your reminders e-mailed
to you. For those interested in having these sent to you via
the Internet, please e-mail the pap police at pappolice@hotmail.com
and provide me with your e-mail address. Our office currently
has a data base of many e-mail addresses. Those who are currently
on this list, should have been receiving reminders concerning
events being hosted in our office. If you have not been receiving
such reminders and your e-mail address has previously been given
to us, perhaps your address needs updated in our system. Please
e-mail us if you feel your address needs corrected. Results can
also be sent by e-mail upon your request. General e-mails can
be sent to our office at susanklosky@hotmail.com.

Oh Happy Day!!!
Is it funny how you
plan your labor to be this wonderful, perfect experience? Well
I am writing this ten weeks after holding my splendid new baby
boy and looking back I guess it was pretty perfect. My water
broke at 8 AM and I had the biggest smile on my face. So did
our son Maxwell when I told him. He started jumping up and down
and ran down the hall to tell Dad. (How perfect Dad if off on
Tuesdays!). We called Family Birth Place at 8:30 AM. Sandy was
on her way into the office, we talked to her and she said we
should come in. So we called everyone and told them that the
baby was finally ready, twelve days late!! At the hospital we
were soon joined by Gramma Mary, Aunt Danyel and Grandpap Ken.
We were having a good time and at 1:00PM, I sent everyone off
to lunch and I hopped on the birthing ball and would you know
it things got crazy all of a sudden!! Thank God for Sandy and
Nurse Mary. I cannot say enough and I certainly will remember
their wonderful support and loving kindness for the rest of my
life!! That said, let us skip to the good part!!! AHHH, that
wonderful urge to push and feeling your baby pass through you
and slip into the world and your waiting arms. What a blessed
reward for me!! AT 6:12 PM our newest addition, Kendall Jay ìRexî
Bomblatus joined our family. Waiting for him eagerly were big
brothers, Ian (8) and Maxwell (4), who stayed with us all day
and did not complain once!! All three of our beautiful boys were
brought into the world with the help of the Nurse Midwives. Thank
you, Nancy, Gretchen, Sandy and Sue. God Bless You!!!
Keith, Pebbles, Ian, Max and
baby Kendall Bomblatus Greensburg, Penna.

Where Are Those Baby Pictures?
Are your photos of your life and family piling up on a desk or
countertop collecting dust? Calling home to a box or a drawer
somewhere? Or worse yet being placed in an album that is actually
destroying them? The stories of our lives need to be passed on
and preserved. There is a safe and fun way to display your precious
photos and memorabilia and you can learn how by coming to a Creative
Memories Demonstration at the Moms Group on Wednesday, April
10, 2002. This demonstration is being conducted by Karen Higgs.
Birth of Zander Nathanial
Thank you so much for all the one-on-one care I received. When
I first found out that I was pregnant, I was going to a different
hospital until I found out about Jeannette District Memorial
Hospital. At the other facility, the doctors would not answer
all of my questions and when I came to Jeannette, it was everything
that I heard. When I had my first appointment with the midwives,
every question was answered and I actually felt like someone
cared. When I was in labor and being monitored every few minutes,
someone came in every few minutes just to see how I was. I was
not able to have the birth I wanted because of medical reasons,
therefore I needed a C-Section. Special thanks to Gretchen Cohen
who never left my side while Dr. Khalil was doing the procedure.
I was scared of feeling pain, but I did it and I had confidence
in all those caring for me. You all helped me so much. Thank
you for helping me have my beautiful son, Zander Nathanial David
